The PPS Interscholastic Story Slam is a live storytelling competition in the vein of poetry slams and The Moth.
Storytellers (slammers) have 5 minutes each to tell a story, based on a theme chosen for the event.
It is called TRUTH BE TOLD!

STUDENTS - All PPS students are eligible to compete at their home schools. Contact your teacher librarian for exact details about the competitions at your school including HOW TO apply, workshop your story, and event details.

TEACHER LIBRARIANS - The point person for each PPS high school is the teacher librarian.
​
COMMUNITY - It takes many people to put together an event of this scale. We appreciate all of our volunteers including our judges, emcees, mathematicians, classroom teachers, designers, families, and amazing audience members!
